We have established our personal information protection policy, as a mechanism for conducting protection over personal information of customers collected from our business operational activities and business management activities or provided to us for safe keeping. We use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect Personal Information under our control.

  1. We strictly adhere to our internal regulations pertaining to the acquisition, use, and provision of personal information in a manner that is of an appropriate scale and content regarding our business operation.
  2. Appropriate measures are implemented to prevent and correct unauthorized access to personal information, as well as any loss, damage, tampering or leak of personal information.
  3. Laws, ordinances and other standards pertaining to personal information are observed.
  4. The framework for controlling personal information shall be continuously improved.
  5. Measures will be taken so that the personal information shall be used within the purpose of use scope, and shall not be used in any way that falls outside of the intended scope without first obtaining customer consent.
  6. Activities relating to education and awareness among corporate directors shall be conducted. In addition, departmental managers will be appointed for each department to handle personal information and conduct appropriate control of said personal information.
  7. Requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, etc., relating to personal information from the concerned persons themselves, as well as complaints and consultation activities shall be attended to without delay.

Privacy Mark

We attained the "Privacy Mark” (P-mark) business operator license from the Japan Institute for Promotion of Digital Economy and Community (JIPDEC) on September 18, 2013.
The P-mark certificate indicates that a framework has been established to handle personal information in an appropriate manner, in compliance with the provisions of the Japan Industrial Standards (JIS Q 15001) pertaining to personal information protection.

    Notification of purpose for use, disclosure, correction of details addition or deletion, as well as suspension of use, erasure and suspension of provision (disclosure and the like) to third parties.

      A. Information regarding application for disclosure
      [Items that must be posted when filing a disclosure application:]
      A “Personal Information Disclosure Application” and the following documents, for the purpose of personal identification, will be required.

      Applications filed by the individual concerned
      Disclosure application form, and one copy each of the documents listed under (1), (2) and (3) below.
      1. Each application for disclosure, correction, or suspension of personal data possessed by this company (application form specified by this company) - 1 copy
      2. Certified copy of resident register (alien registration card in case of foreign nationals) - 1 copy
        Certified copy of resident register: Original certificate issued within 6 months.
        Alien registration card: In the event of a change in residential address since the issue of the card, a copy of the reverse side will also be required.
      3. Any of a driver’s license, passport or health insurance certificate - 1 copy
        *In the event that the “permanent domicile” is visible on any document used for personal identification, please black out segments aside from the prefecture name before mailing.
        Driver’s license: In the event of a change in residential address since the issue of the card, a copy of the reverse side will also be required.
        Passport: Pages with photograph and address entered (total of 2 pages).
        Health insurance certificate: A copy of each of page that features the name, date of birth and address of the applicant.
      Applications filed by an agent
      In the event the applicant is a legal representative of the person, a minor or adult ward, or a representative consigned by the person who is applying for disclosure, documents that can be used to verify that the representative is indeed the representative of the person concerned, namely document (A-(1), (2) and (3) or B- (1), (2), (3), (4) and (5)) must be enclosed in addition to the documents required for the ”Applications Filed by The Individual Concerned.”

      2. Method for payment of postage
        Enclose postage stamp for a JPY612 amount to pay for these fees.
    4. Disclosure applications response method:
      As a general rule, the document is to be received only by the applicant and posted to the address as it appears on the resident registration certificate, via recipient-limited mail.
      (Even in instances that the application is filed by a representative via their power of attorney, the disclosure applicant will be designated as the recipient, and the document will be posted to the address as it appears on the resident register certificate. In the event a legal representative is filing the application, the legal representative shall be designated as recipient and the document posted to the address of the legal representative as it appears on the resident certificate.)
      The recipient limited mail will have the phone number of the recipient entered on the envelope. The post office will contact the recipient and once the identity of the person has been verified, the mail can then be received at the address or at the post office.

      *Information regarding non-disclosure of “Personal Data in Possession”
      The information shall not be disclosed in any of the instances stipulated below. A notification will be provided in the event a decision is made not to disclose the information, along with the reason for said decision. The prescribed amount of postage will still be required in case of a non-disclosure.

      • Instances where personal verification is not possible because the address entered on the application form does not match the address described in documents provided for personal identification and the address registered with this company.
      • Instances where the right of representation cannot be verified for applications by a representative.
      • Instances where there are flaws with specified application documents.
      • Instances where the subject of application for disclosure does not correspond to any “personal data in possession”.
      • Instances where the life, physical well-being, property or other rights or interests of the person or a third party may be damaged.
      • Instances where the proper operation of this company may be significantly impeded.
      • Other instances where laws and ordinances may be violated.

      Others:

      • In the event that the postage is insufficient or that the postage has not been enclosed, the applicant shall be notified of the fact; however in the event there is no payment within the prescribed period, response actions will be taken as if the application for disclosure had never occurred.
      • Personal information submitted for a disclosure procedure shall be used within the scope required for the purposes of the disclosure procedure, in order to verify personal identity, collation with personal data in possession, as well as when needing to contact the applicant (representative).
        Application documents, furthermore, shall be destroyed after first storing them for a certain period of time, and will not be returned.
      • Please note that due to procedures relating to verification and correlation of personal data, sometime may be required before the disclosed document can be provided.

      B. Information on application for correction and suspension of use
      Send in the Correction Application or the Suspension of Use Application, as well as documents that are required for personal identification, which are the same as those required for the “Application Method” under “Articles that must be posted when applying for disclosure” of Section 5 (ii) of the Application Method, in order to apply for a correction or suspension of use.
